General Overview-
A- Mononucleosis was first described by Sprunt and Evans in the Bulletin of the Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1920
B- Mouth, Spleen, Abdomen, Liver, Throat, Skin, Eyes, Blood, Brain and more
C- Mono can causes them to be sore and raw
D- There are a few forms of Mono
Causes-
A- Mono is also know as the "kissing disease" because it is mainly transmitted through body fluids
Incidence-
A- Over 85% of Americans have already had the illness
B- Most commonly seen by physicians in young adults between the ages of 15 and 30
C- No it does not
D- very low
Signs and Symptoms-
Diagnosis-
A- Doctors normally do blood work to test if you have Mono
Treatment-
A- There is no vaccine to prevent you from this disease but you can help treat it by staying hydrated and getting plenty of rest
B- There is no cure
Prevention-
A- You can help prevent this disease by avoiding kissing, drinking from other peoples' drinks and stuff like that
