Rugrats Track for Kindergarten-Grade 2
Who: Anyone in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
What: Rugrat track is a parent run non-CYO sport. This is a laid back, fun way for kids to run around and be outdoors with their friends and exercise without even knowing it. We have a wonderful group of coaches to help teach the athletes how to be a part of a team and to learn about the sport.
When: Practices will be twice a week beginning March 27. Once after school and once up at the Mayfield High School track in the evening (students do not have to make every practice). Meets are held Saturday mornings. They will start after spring break and the season will end at the end of May. We are still finalizing practice days and meet schedule… stay tuned!

EdChoice for All-Call to Action
The "Parent Educational Freedom Act" is in Ohio’s Senate Education Committee, and now is the time to let your voice be heard. Use this link from the Catholic Conference of Ohio to contact your Ohio Senator: https://www.votervoice.net/OHCATHOLIC/Campaigns/101143/Respond.
Brief Summary:
- S.B. 11, the “Parent Educational Freedom Act,” calls for every Ohio student to be eligible for scholarships of $5,500 for grades K-8, and $7,500 for grades 9-12, to be used at any chartered non-public school that accepts the EdChoice scholarships.
- This enables the state’s education funding formula to support students where their parents want them to attend.
- All local taxes still stay with the local public district, even if they have fewer students to educate. The scholarships are funded only by the state’s share of the funding formula, which is supported by all of our taxes.
- The bill also increases the homeschooling expenses that a taxpayer can claim for an income tax credit from $250 to $2,000 a year.

Playground Volunteers Needed-Kindergarten to Grade 2
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:10 am-12:55 pm. There are many, many time slots open! We are so grateful for the help!
Grade 2 families are asked to volunteer in March, Grade 1 in April, Kindergarten and anyone who would like to help in May/June.
