COUNSELORS CORNER
Did you know??? December's Coyote Care initiative is Kindness! With the Christmas season upon us, this is a perfect time to show extra kindness to others, and studies show that service and kindness directed at others can lift moods and help improve mental health. Need some ideas?
- Donate to a food or toy drive (NHS has a food drive going now!)
- Choose family to do a service project for
- Hold the door open for someone, or let them in front of you in line or in traffic
- Make a batch of Christmas cookies and take them to your neighbors
- Give someone a compliment, it's FREE!
- Smile at others as you pass them in the hall
- Send a thank you note to someone who has done something for you
- Check out justserve.org and find an organization that needs extra help
- Need more ideas or want to become a Raktivist?
Did you know??? We have 12 days left of the semester! Remember, credit comes from a semester grade of 60% or higher so work hard to get that semester grade up. If you fail a class, please see your counselor to make arrangements to make it up...not doing this could mean that you won't graduate!
