Dear MHS Parents and Guardians,
Please find key information for the upcoming weeks:
- Parents/guardians, when dropping of your child in the morning you must now DROP OFF AND GO. Do not park in the fire lane, reserved parking spots, or student parking spots. Current practice is creating a dangerous situation by blocking fire lanes reserved for emergency vehicles. Thank you for prompt attention and cooperation in this safety matter.
- Please read below regarding school photo and ID distribution, and photo retakes.
- Tuesday, January 26th will be a remote learning day for all Grade 9, 10, and 12 students, while Grade 11 students (except for those who have opted out) will report to school for PSAT testing. On the 26th, buses will run in the AM for Juniors, per the usual schedule, with an additional run home at 11:30AM immediately after dismissal (unlike MCAS the PSAT is a timed test). Grab-and-go lunches will be available for all testing students as they exit the building. Juniors will then be expected to log in to the last class of the day remotely from home at 12:49PM. Cohorts will remain separate throughout the testing day. Please look for an email to all Juniors toward the end of next week with all of the details (what to bring, where to enter/exit, etc.).
Finally, no school for all this Monday, January 18th in honor of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
Best regards,
Mary Watkins
Principal

School IDs and Photos
On Thursday and Friday of this week students who were photographed in December received a new student ID and their photo package, if they ordered pictures. Virtual Remote Cohort students photographed in December will have their new ID and photos mailed home (if purchased).

In addition, students who purchased pictures in December but would like to have them retaken may do so on the Retake Day. The original photo package must be returned to the photographer at that time.
