A Thoughtful Classroom Update
Living and Learning in Third Grade
Curriculum Night
A BIG thank you to all parents who could make our curriculum night presentations! We are looking forward to a successful year and would not be able to reach our goals without your help! The students are off to an amazing start! There is so much to learn and so many ways to grow this year!!
What is a neuron?
Students have been learning all about the brain. This learning supports our third grade motto, "Living and learning with a growth mindset NOT a fixed mind set!
Gratitude...What is it and how can I show it?
Our third grade theme this year is "Living with Gratitude." Students were given a gratitude journal on the first day of school. We will write in them throughout the year. Lessons of gratitude are taught during our social emotional block on Thursday!
What are the rules we live and learn by?
Two rules we follow daily:
1. How can we make our classroom a place for everyone to live and learn?
2. How can we be the best students we can be and learn as much as possible?

Just a reminder...
IXL is a math website where students can practice their multiplication and division facts. Just select the third grade tab and begin searching. Students can also practice their basic addition and subtraction facts by selecting the second grade tab! Please let us know if you need any assistance or if the log in we gave you does not work!
