NAPOLEON
The first trait that Napoleon exhibits is selfishness, an example is when he bends the commandments throughout the story for his own benefit. His second trait is egotism when he named the windmill after himself even though he never worked to build it. He showed both of these traits when he changed the farms song to "Comrade Napoleon" resulting in the animals standing by as he slowly takes over.
BOXER
Boxer's first character trait was a strong work ethic because he got up two hours earlier than the others to gather stones for the windmill. His second trait was loyalty, to a fault, because he believed so strongly Napoleon that he was blinded from the truth. "Napoleon is always right", the significance of this quote is that horse believed so much in pig that sold him to the butcher, which in resulted in the Boxer's death.
THE LACK OF EQUALITY
The lack of equality is shown through the leadership of Napoleon as the farm supplies are restricted to only dogs and pigs.
