Another Successful Banquet
The 143rd annual Alumni Banquet weekend included opportunities for returning alumni to tour multiple destinations in town. Banquet attendance topped 225, including excellent turnouts of the Class of 2019 and the 50 Year Class of 1969. The highly successful Class of ’69 continued to toast one another’s success well into the evening at their post-banquet at the arts depot.
Featured speaker was John Lowe who shared the podium with Marc Harshman, published author and poet laureate of West Virginia.
Your Alumni Association distributed $25,000 in scholarships and teacher grants at the banquet, support made possible by ongoing generous alumni donations.
The Alumni Association also plays an active role in the school corporations “Awards Night,” by managing the school’s scholarship fund and actively promoting the importance of Remembering, Reaching Back and Making a Difference.
