Lincoln Weekend Update, March 8, 2024
Lincoln Community,
Thank you for your support and assistance in helping get your students prepared and ready for the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR). Testing continues this upcoming week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You will find the schedule for testing in the "Repeat Information" section at the bottom of this update.
We also want to provide you with resources to support your children at home with social media. Common Sense Media provides great resources and tips for helping parents navigate the digital world with their kids. If you sense your child may be experiencing anxiety, or stress, or is withdrawing into social media, this article titled, Practical Tips for Easing Kids' Social Media Anxiety is well written and provides great tips to help engage in conversations with your children. We encourage you to take a moment to read through it.
We hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend. We look forward to seeing the Lions next week.
In Partnership,
Eric Larson, Laena DiVito, Jason Jonas
