The class who provides the most cereal boxes wins a PRIZE of a Rita's Italian Ice party. Help us "knock down hunger" and food insecurity. All cereal boxes will be donated to the Harrisburg Area Food Pantry, which serves our local community.

Free Monthly Medicaid Coverage Help Sessions
We realize many of our families utilize Medicaid and wanted to pass on some information about renewing your benefits (something that must be done each year). To find your renewal date, please visit dhs.pa.gov/COMPASS or use the free myCOMPASS PA mobile app. If you want to renew by phone, call 1-866-550-4355.
Additionally, if interested, the West Shore School District has partnered with Highmark Wholecare to offer FREE monthly help sessions for families in the process of applying for or renewing Medicaid coverage who would like to speak with someone in person. Sessions will be held at Cedar Cliff High School the first Wednesday of the month and at Red Land High School the second Wednesday of the month. Highmark staff members will be available from 10 a.m. to noon at both schools.
If you have any questions about these events, please feel free to contact Mrs. Kristen Peters, Director of Special Education, at kpeters@wssd.k12.pa.us
