Mariner Times
April 29, 2024
Greetings, Mariner Families!
I would like to thank and congratulate Ms. Wintila Morales Gonzalez who was recognized last week at the county wide Leadership in Biliteracy Symposium for being a champion for biliteracy and for advocating for our students. We appreciate her leadership, and we celebrate her passion and commitment to the success of our English Learner students.
Information was sent out to all families of seniors about graduation. Our ceremony will be held in the Montgomery High School Stadium on June 5th at 5PM. Our bleachers were closed after a district inspection and this venue will provide a safe alternative for our students and families.
This Thursday at 5pm is Future Mariner Night. Please join us if you have incoming freshmen or help spread the word if families you know will be sending their freshmen to MVH next year. We are excited to meet all of our new students and families!
Have a wonderful week, Mariners!
Sincerely,
Teresa Kramer

If your student chooses to ride their bike, skateboard, or scooter to school. They must secure them in the storage area located by the library. They will not be allowed on campus. We do have skateboard lockers and chains available, but students must bring their own lock. Any standard combination lock will work for the skateboard lockers. Mar Vista High is not responsible for theft or vandalism of these transportation items.
