Message From The Principal
Good afternoon,
It was great seeing many of you at this week’s Tour & Treat event. We are sending this special edition of the Stoller News (which regularly are biweekly) because we know you may still have some questions around how next week will look.
First, a reminder that Wednesday the 8th will be the first day for 6th graders only. Thursday the 9th will be the first day for 7th and 8th graders.
I know that 6th (and probably 7th and 8th) graders may be a little nervous. Please assure them that for the first few days, it will be an all hands on deck situation. There will be adults out in halls and around the building throughout the day, especially during transitions to help them get to their classes.
Through September 17th all students will be starting their day in their advisory class. This will allow them to go over policies and expectations and make sure they are ready to start the day.
Lunch, arrival, dismissal, bathroom, and all other routines will be explained at length to your students.
Rest assured that our priority will be safety and community building so that students feel comfortable and ready to learn.
On Tuesday, look out for a video that we will share via social media to help students navigate arrival and dismissal.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Go Jags!

Travel and Returning To School
Questions have been raised regarding rules around traveling and quarantining before returning to school. Please review CDC guidance for domestic travel and international travel.
If you have questions please email Stoller at SMS-Communications@beaverton.k12.or.us
Mask Guidance
Governor Kate Brown has instructed all Oregon school districts to require masks indoors in all K-12 schools for staff, students and visitors, regardless of whether they’re vaccinated or not; the mask mandate includes our Pre-K students. Similar to last year, students with documented medical issues that prevent mask wearing may be exempt. Please email the office SMS-Communications@beaverton.k12.or.us for more information.
"Mask" and “face covering” are now used interchangeably in ODE and OHA guidance. A “mask” or “face covering” means a cloth, polypropylene, paper or other face covering that covers the nose and the mouth and that rests snugly above the nose, below the mouth, and on the sides of the face. Face coverings must be worn at all times when indoors unless eating, drinking, or playing an instrument and while on school buses. OHA guidelines state face coverings are currently mandatory while outdoors.
Please visit click this link "Back To School Information" for more BSD masking guidance.
