Important Reminders
Transitional Enrollment-Grade 8 Families
We are in the process of preparing Grade 8 students for transitioning to high school. Updated student registration and proof of residence needs to be completed online.
Please visit https://pgcpsmdc.scriborder.com/ select Transitional Enrollment and upload updated proof of residence.
Letters have been sent home with more details and instructions for completing this time sensitive task. The letters are also attached here for your convenience.
If you have questions, please contact the school at 301-925-2300 and speak with the registrar, Mr. William Branch.
Student Transportation Changes
This is a reminder to families. Please email grade level administrators or contact the main office at 301-925-2300 if your child is changing their transportation on a specific day. An example of this would be that your child is a bus rider, but on a specific day, you will pick them up... the school should be notified of this change.
Student Mediation
Cell Phone Policy
Students are expected to comply with our district's cell phone policy, AP 5132! At Kenmoor, we have implemented the following protocol:
- Students are reminded daily during morning announcements to power off and store away all cell phone devices. They can store them in a backpack or locker.
- If a student has their device visible, it will be confiscated by an administrator and it will be returned to the student at the end of the school day.
- If the student fails to comply with the cell phone policy and continues to have their cell phone visible, it will be confiscated and a parent or guardian will be required to pick it up from the school.
- If a student continues to disregard the cell phone policy, they will be required to check in their phone with their Administrator in the mornings and check out their phone at the end of each school day.
Mindful Moment
Enjoy
