What can I make?
We have the largest selection of any studio in Central Illinois with over 600 pottery items to paint including cups, plates, bowls, useful household/kitchen items and a great range of fun kids pieces. Our creative classes are designed to help everyone, no matter their perceived artistic ability, to make something memorable.
How much does it cost?
We only charge for the price of the piece selected. There is no additional studio or sitting fees. We do have some specialty glazes that can be purchased separately and some advanced glazes that require an additional firing charge. Our pottery pieces range from $10.00 to $100.00 with most pieces priced between $16.00 and $35.00.

Strive for Justice and Peace
Lamentably, violence permeates much of our culture, and affects the well-being of too many individuals, families, and communities--even here in the United States, one of the planet's wealthiest nations, steeped in religious values, and a leader in global peacemaking. As Jesus' followers, called to be light to the world, we can make a difference by sharing God's love and forgiveness. Join the discussion in this two-week course adapted from the Living Lutheran magazine and led by Lee Maki.
December 1st and 8th at 9:45am in the Mary Martha Parlor.
Gifts for LSSI
Christmas Care Giving Cards for Lutheran Social Services
We will be collecting Christmas gifts for children in need. The names of the children have been provided by LSSI. Please plan to include one or more of these children on your Christmas gift list this year.
The names will be available for selection on Sunday, December 1st and Sunday, December 8th. After selecting your card, please register your name and the card number with one of the volunteers at the table.
Giftwrap each present, use the card from the Care Giving Cards as the nametag and put the gifts in a bag with a handle. Bring your wrapped gifts to the back of the sanctuary by Noon on Sunday, December 15th.
We ask that you keep within the suggested guideline of $30 per individual. It is suggested that you get two gifts per child; one clothing item, and one toy/fun item.
If you are not able to or do not wish to shop, monetary donations may be given to Shelley Atkinson. If you are interested in helping deliver the gifts, doing some shopping, or staffing the registration table, please contact Shelley Atkinson. mlatkins@uic.edu
