Canton 5th-grade Team Is Going To The Super Bowl!!!
Canton 5th Grade Team In Its Quest For The Eastern Mass 5th Grade Super Bowl Title
Hello Luce Families,
The 5th Grade Bulldogs have advanced to their first-ever Super Bowl in the program's history and currently stand at 9-0. With today's 34-6 victory over Medway, the Bulldogs will advance to play in next Sunday's 5th grade Super Bowl against North Attleboro in Foxboro at a time to be determined.
Here are some game highlights and attached photos for some Luce 5th graders to cap off a terrific weekend if you want to include this in the weekly SMORES newsletter.
Ms. Fish's student--Dylan Rubin, recovered a fumble and recorded five tackles, including four for a loss.
Ms. Fish's student--Drew Mantie, scored three touchdowns along with three extra-point conversions. The dual-threat quarterback rushed for 113 yards on six carries and managed the first-team offensive unit.
Demetrius Tavares recorded two tackles. Including one for a loss.
Jacinto DiLitzia--recorded five tackles and two sacks.
Michael Mantie also added six tackles, including three for a loss.
Also, Ethan Davis has one carry for seven yards and made three tackles.
Defensively, the team has allowed a total of 38 points in nine games!
What's next????
The team will play in the Super Bowl next Sunday at Foxboro High School time TBD... We will let the community know as soon as the time is released. We hope you can make it to cheer on the boys as they compete in their first Super Bowl.
