Keeping Up with Comm Arts
~ February 19, 2024 ~
Hello Comm Arts Family and Friends!
Monday, February 19th, is Presidents’ Day. Students, we hope you had a wonderful three-day weekend.
Wednesday, February 21st, we will be facilitating Skills and Strategies Day. This is where each teacher teaches a soft skill that will be useful in life. Exciting pics to come! Wednesday is also a Professional Learning Time for teachers. They will be in meetings, so no tutoring before school.
Please support SkillsUSA. They are headed to state! There is a Mod Pizza Fundraiser on Thursday, February 22nd at the Alamo Ranch location. Our fundraiser code is MODGIVES20.
Friday, February 23rd is National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. We are incredibly thankful to all our bus drivers and the transportation staff that safely get our students to and from school. Students, make sure to thank your bus driver.
Campus Reminders
Dress Code - As the weather slowly gets warmer, remember that midriffs must be covered and shorts must be mid-thigh, even with tights.
Lunch Expectations - Students must remain in the cafeteria or the back patio during lunch. If you plan on leaving the cafeteria, you will need a pass. This includes attending the library, tutoring, or attending elective classes such as choir, band, etc. Lunch d-hall will be assigned to those roaming the hallways.
Thank you to all families for your ongoing support and partnership in your child's education. We appreciate your collaboration in making our school community thrive.
