Prestwick LEarns- Multi-Age Partnerships
Opportunities such as these make Prestwick an exceptional place to learn! This experience will be remembered by many. Most importantly this activity demonstrates that we are not limited by our age to learn the engineering design process. What better way to learn that by teaching others and learning from one another.
Staff Spotlight
Howdy Lobos!
PSA is excited to introduce our Special Education (“SPED”) teacher, Ms. Cindy Delcambre. Ms. Delcambre is another valuable member of our Academic Support Team that brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the area of Special Education.
Ms. Delcambre is originally from Starkville, Mississippi and if you have ever had the chance to speak with her, you can definitely tell she is from the deep south. Ms. Delcambre graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management. She later earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood & Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. This is Ms. Delcambre’s 15th year in the education profession and she is certified in the areas of Early Childhood, English as a Second Language, and Special Education.
While Ms. Delcambre’s position can be rigorous, she really enjoys finding ways to level the playing field by making the curriculum accessible for all learners. Her goal is to build her students confidence by helping them find success each day at school while helping them work towards independence. “The excitement in their face when they ‘get it’ is priceless!”
In Ms. Delcambre’s free time, she enjoys reading a good book, trying new cooking recipes, and doing her own DIY home projects. In addition, Ms. Delcambre enjoys spending quality time with her family.
PSA is proud to have Mrs. Delcambre’s servant heart to meet the needs of our students.
