4th Grade Chronical
Camacho Cosmos
This Week
If you were a fly in our room this week you would have seen authors share their creations in the library, ecologists critically thinking about problems that are affecting our plant and animal's ecosystems, and mathematicians working classifying and measuring angles in fun ways.
Language Arts
In Language Arts our authors FINALLY got to share their Trickster Tales with the younger grades. We presented to ELE, 3rd Grade, 1st Grade and Kindergarten in the library. The students did a fantastic job showing off their hard work and letting the younger grades see what they have to look forward to in 4th grade!
Science
This week in science our 4th grade ecologists explored food webs, inherited traits vs. learned behaviors, and animal and plant adaptations. We are working hard, gaining knowledge, and moving towards changing the world through helping our planet.
Math
This week in math we focused on angles. We classified acute, obtuse, right, zero, and straight angles. After classifying, we spent a day using our pattern blocks to measure the angles.
Talking Point: Ask your kiddos to share their new math cheers with you!
