Twitter Tips
Looking for more information regarding Formative Assessments? Then you might want to consider exploring the hashtag #FormativeAssessment for loads of information on the topic. Just another reminder of the power of using Twitter as part of your personal learning network.
Got Databases?
Doing Research? I'd love to collaborate with you! Let me know if you'd like me to conduct a Research Boot Camp for your students. It would include lessons on citing sources, taking notes, organizational skills and much more. Remember that the school district offers a robust source of databases under the Students link on the LISD website called Bookmarks for Research Elementary. The databases include World Book, Teaching Books, and Discovery Education. If you need even more sites for students to conduct research, consider the "safe sites" on the website at this link: http://www.emergingedtech.com/2014/01/8-safe-search-engines-and-tools-for-kids/
