Hello!
The Week of the Young Child® (April 6-12) is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the world's largest early childhood education association, with nearly 60,000 members and a network of 52 Affiliates. The purpose of the Week of the Young Child® is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs. Madison Reading Project & Free books for children aged 0-5
Madison Reading Project is the official Literacy Champion of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for all of Dane County! The Imagination Library puts books into the hands and hearts of children across the world.
Through this exciting partnership, registered children from birth to age five will receive a high-quality, age-appropriate book each month, personalized with the child’s name and mailed directly to the child’s home, to create a gifting experience that makes books exciting and ignites the joy of reading.
We are sharing this information because your family may have younger children, aged 0-5, who would be eligible for this opportunity from this local, non-profit organization.
