Greetings from the Nurse!
Unfortunately COVID-19 continues to be of concern. Just a reminder to parents/guardians, if your child tests positive for COVID either at home, at a laboratory, or at your health care provider’s office, PLEASE alert your child’s school. You may leave this information on the Attendance line.
Per state and local health department guidelines, we need to report this information on a weekly basis. Isolation measures are important to reduce the spread of this infection. Household contacts of a positive case of COVID should wear a mask during school hours. Please encourage your child to wear a mask at school and during school-related activities after school hours if anyone in the home has tested positive for the COVID infection.
Please contact me at 989-921-2621 should you have questions/concerns.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Kimberly Newman, RN BSN

-Be sure to add Thursday, October 6 @ 6:00 on your calendar. That is the day we will be presenting our annual Financial Aid Workshop for seniors and their parents/guardians. Mrs. Elvina Sika, financial aid expert from Delta College, will join us to discuss all forms of available financial aid and the FAFSA. Please try to attend this valuable workshop. As I have told our seniors, in my perfect world, all seniors would complete and submit the FAFSA. It is the gateway to all forms of federal student aid and many, many more aid opportunities offered by state agencies, local scholarship donors, etc.
With that being said, if you cannot make the SV Financial Aid Workshop, the state of MI is offering a series of virtual Financial Aid Workshops. The following is the link to the registration page for the state of MI programs.
