Confessions from an Introvert
It hasn't been long since the last confession, but this person has already learned something. When reading the definition of an introvert, which I often do to spur new ideas and kill the monotony of repeated words, one of the terms stated was "reticent". Being an introvert you'd think I knew its meaning. (I'm totally embarrassing my colleagues because I had to research it. And have been spell checked three times already. Sigh.) Anyway, I was pleased to find I do not fit the description of this word. My family will contest to this. (It means not revealing one's thoughts or feelings readily.) If my words don't say it, my face does. It can't shut up for the life of it. So, I am already on my way to introvert recovery. Next step: finding an event and attending it. I think I will try Red Poppy Festival in Georgetown this weekend.
New confession: I have been before. And thus, will pass on this important information: LADIES, do not use the port-a-potties. The little white church, Grace Heritage, has bathrooms in the back. Much cleaner and more light.
New word: reticent
