STEP 2 - NOODLE TOOLS
Noodle Tools is a program that will help you keep track of and organize all the sources you use to get information for your project. It will also help you create a bibliography or works cited page, which will be included in your project.
To access Noodle Tools, login through CLASSLINK.
Step 3 - Share Noodle Tools Project With Your Teacher
- Log into Noodle Tools
- To the right of the project you want to share, click the plus sign under Sharing (the plus sign does not appear until you hover your mouse in the area under sharing)
- To the right of "Share with a teacher's inbox" click Share
- In "Project inbox name" begin typing your teacher's last name
- Select the correct class period from the drop down
- Click Done
Step 5 - Cite Your Sources
Citing: All of these databases link to Noodle Tools so that you can easily cite each source. Follow these simple steps:
- Make sure that Noodle Tools is open, you are logged in, and your project is open.
- Find and click on the Noodle Tools link for your article.
- Click Import references
- The citation will be added to your list of sources. You may have to refresh your page to see it.
- Check to make the link is working. If not, you may have to copy the article link and add it to your citation.

Step 6 - Export or Print your Bibliography or Works Cited
- Log in to Noodle Tools and open your project
- Go to your Sources page
- Click on the Share icon (square with an arrow pointing up)
- Select Print/Export to Google Docs
- If prompted, sign into your Google account
- Your Works Cited page will appear in a Google Document
- Copy and past to your project (Tip, use Control-A to copy the entire document)
