How can parents help?
- Make sure your child gets a good night of sleep each day.
- Make sure your child is on time for school, especially if you need them to eat breakfast at school!
- Make sure your child’s laptop is fully charged each day they bring it to school.
- Motivate your child to do their best and let him/her know how proud you are their “wins” and especially the effort they demonstrate by not giving up, rather working through the struggle for better understanding.
- Encourage your child to work out math problems when you facilitate math homework, and practice reading at home each day - reading every day increases a child’s vocabulary and fluency!

“For those of you who filled out and returned your membership forms, thank you so much! All parents, guardians, teachers, staff are welcome and encouraged to fill out a form to be a member. Membership grants you voting privileges in how some of our organization runs! Membership does NOT commit you to volunteering in any way. When we do need volunteers for events, we will simply send an email to all of you asking for help.” - Chelsey Carver, PTO President
