😁 Great news Graves parents, WE DID IT! 😁
We met our goal of having 20% parent participation on our 5 essentials survey. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to share your thoughts on the important elements of your child’s school. When these results are ready, we will be able to understand what we are doing well and what we need to improve on to make our school the best it can be.
If you are still interested in participating and taking the survey, please visit http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/ and select the appropriate survey to begin.
Please remember that the survey closes March 31, 2023.
Thank you for support!
🌷“Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘let’s party.” – Robin Williams 🌷
- March brings us closer to the end of cold and flu season! Please keep sick students at home and encourage frequent handwashing to protect others.
Students should stay home until they are well enough to participate and are fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication. Once your student starts improving, please test for covid and send back to school with a negative result ASAP!
- Washing your hands is easy, and it's the most effective way to prevent the spread of germs... Especially stomach bugs!
- Covid home test kits will continue to be given to students sent home with covid symptoms.
“Once a week, take a peek” We continue to see lice cases; please check your child’s hair weekly to prevent an outbreak in your home.
🦷 For those who signed up, the Miles of Smiles Dental van will be at Grave's when we return from break on April 3rd & 4th.

2-1-1 Helpline now available!
Chicago and suburban Cook County residents now have access to a local 2-1-1 service—changing the landscape for how we meet the needs of our neighbors. 2-1-1 is a free, 24/7/365 service that connects them to essential health and social service support and information during times of non-emergency crisis and for everyday needs.
Important for residents:
Call 9-1-1 for emergencies.
Call 3-1-1 or call your city or village office for municipal or local government services if 3-1-1 is not available in your community.
Call 9-8-8 for the suicide and crisis lifeline.
