If you are a returning member, please log in and edit your account. ***The code you will need to enter for St. Louis School is 81013.*** When finished, just email your teacher (we are using the honor system) and your child will receive an Out of Uniform Pass for doing this good deed! Amazon Smile account
Our Amazon Smile account was set up by the St. Louis PTO a few years ago, and continues to be a good way to support our school.
You simply go to smile.amazon.com and choose who you want to support. Every purchase you make on Amazon benefits us. Also, it's easy to remember because once you have used Amazon smile on a computer, it will remember that you support others and will remind you to use "smile".
The link below will take you to their website, where you can also find additional information regarding Amazon Smile. Please check it out!
* AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service.
Teacher Appreciation Week--volunteers needed
Hello SLS parents,
National teacher appreciation week is May 1st-5th. St. Louis School is blessed to have wonderful teachers and staff that make a lasting impact on our children’s lives. St. Louis PTO would like to give back to all the teachers and staff members to show them how much we appreciate all they do for our wonderful school community during this week. We would like to offer each staff member a free hour of their day to allow them to relax and do whatever they wish on Wednesday, May 3rd. In order to make this happen, we are asking for volunteers to cover the hour to allow our wonderful staff a well deserved break for all their hard work throughout the year. If you are willing to donate your time in appreciation to all the staff members we have a St. Louis School, please inform Brooke Maple at brookemaple@gmail.com by April 24th.
Thanks,
Brooke Maple

Jerusalem and the Dead Sea Scrolls
On Monday, April 17 the Cincinnati Museum Center came to SLS for a special presentation for the jr. high students on Jerusalem and the Dead Sea Scrolls provided by a grant from the Vision Fund. Students gained background in the rich religious history of Jerusalem, learned about the significance of the scrolls, worked from a concordance to put together a piece of text from Deuteronomy, and experimented with writing using scribes, quills, and Iron Gall ink. Students also learned how DNA is used for authentication of the scrolls and tried identifying types of animal skin used in place of paper.
Thank you to the Vision Fund for making this experience possible!
