News from the Principal's Office
A&M Consolidated High School
Reflections from the week of 2-27-17
This past week I received a message from one of my favorite teachers in intermediate school, Mrs. Lackey, and I was elated. Though I have not heard from her in thirty-eight years, I felt her spirit as I read her words of encouragement. Mrs. Lackey held a special place in my heart because she held her students accountable, she had high expectations, and she poured her heart and soul into teaching. More importantly, she was so kind and caring, and she loved all students--specifically those students who sometimes acted unlovable. During this time of year, you may become weary or question whether you are making an impact and you have to know that you are! Stay strong, remain committed, and love those in spite of their circumstances. Eventually, you too will be remembered as a "Mrs. Lackey" who has been shaping the lives of our future for 38 years.
Be the light to help our students shine bright.
