News from the Principal
I am pleased to welcome a new student to Mrs. Sheridan's first-grade classroom - welcome Sofia.
Please make sure to send in all winter apparel for your child to enjoy all that winter has to offer on our playground. Coat, Snow pants, Waterproof boots, hats, and mittens are a must-have. This week we, were able to do a little sledding and belly slides on the ice. Some creative students even made some snowmen families. If students aren't following our winter safety rules on the playground, they will owe five minutes on the wall. Things like throwing ice and snow, going in the large puddles in their sneakers, or putting their hands on others. While indoors, we played a new version of Hot Potato and our old favorite of Jack Frost and British Bulldogs.
We welcome our spring semester Student Teachers from Franklin Pierce University this week.
- Mr. Maddy - Mrs. Moore's classroom
- Ms. Konieczny - Mrs. Rollo's classroom.
- Ms. Sainte Croix - Sheridan's classroom.
While popping into the band classroom, I; was able to listen to the students play their instruments they; sound; better and better each week. This week's song choice was a Mickey Mouse March, which everyone is familiar with that tune. Mrs. Rixford's class was working; on a group math lesson on using diagrams and math expressions for whole numbers and fractions. Ms. Walsh's class was working on; I-Ready, reading awesome; new books on animal fun, facts, and the southeastern states. Mrs. Rollo's class was busy taking their online I-Ready assessments in math and reading.
