The Week in Review
What happened?... What's coming up?...
The cool weather continues!! Please continue to send in water bottles daily, our rooms still tend to be warm; and now the heat is on!
Tuesday, October 13 was a sad and difficult day for the Haddon Township community. The teachers and I kept the day flowing as usual with minor schedule tweaks. We did not share any information with your children on Tuesday, or since the event. We respect each family's right to disperse this information to their elementary school children as they see fit. However, we ask that whatever information you do share with your child(ren), that you remind then NOT to discuss the topic at school with classmates. It is a sensitive topic that should be discussed at home only. Of course, is if a student is feeling unsafe/scared, we had/have counselors available. The Edison School Family keeps the Creato Family in our thoughts.
Living History was held this past week on Thursday, October 15. This year's topic was Haddon Township, Celebrating 150 Years! Vicki Glembocki and her huge crew of volunteers transformed the school into 6 rooms/history lessons. The morning's opening assembly with Mayor Randy Teague and the conclusion "Vaudeville" show featuring local performers, all captured the students' attention. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
