- Date the assignment was completed (Between 2/26/24 and 3/22/24- please make sure it's a school day- Saturdays, Sundays and any holidays won't be accepted)
- Subject (Language Arts this time for TK-8th)
- A grade from you (TK-3rd grade can be a star or happy face, 4th-12th grade must be a percentage, letter grade, or ratio)
*Keep in mind this should be a sample of student's best work!

Thinking Maps- the Brace Map
This Map is BEST used for showing whole-to-part or part-to-whole relationships for physical objects.
Pro-Tip: Keep in mind that all of the physical parts should add up to the whole physical object on a Brace Map. If they do not, it may be that it is a topic with categories that are being shown, in which case a Tree Map should be used instead (for categorizing). The Brace Map and the Tree Map are sometimes confused about their purpose (thinking process), for physical objects and all of the parts add up to the whole.
