MONSTER

Book Review
For the book monster, i would only give it a 2/5 stars. Personally, i didnt like the book. I thought it was annoying how it kept saying how the camera view changed and it kept interrupting the story and the book was just not that interesting. For the first half of the part it was basically only about what they did and it took place in jail and the courtroom. It was not that interesting that i wanted to keep reading. But i would recommend this book to my brother, because he likes books that are about crime, but i don't think i would recommend this to any one else that i know. It was just not that interesting of a book and the spots where it says that something changed gets annoying how it keeps interrupting.
Courtroom
Most of the story took place in a courtroom.
Lawyers
James and Steve both had lawyers defending them in the trial.
Quotes
1.“They take away your shoelaces and your belt so you can’t kill yourself no matter how bad it is. I guess making you live is part of the punishment.” This is an important quote, because Steve realizes that jail is bad and that it will be tough for him to live there.
2.“What did I do? I walked into a drugstore to look for some mints, and then I walked out. What was wrong with that? I didn't kill Mr. Nesbitt.” Steve says that he is innocent and shouldn't be on trial because he didn't shoot Mr. Nesbitt.
