A Mother’s Day Prayer
I said a Mother’s Day prayer for you
to thank the Lord above
for blessing me with a lifetime
of your tenderhearted love.
I thanked God for the caring
you’ve shown me through the years,
for the closeness we’ve enjoyed
in time of laughter and of tears.
And so, I thank you from the heart
for all you’ve done for me
and I bless the Lord for giving me
the best mother there could be!

On behalf of the entire school community, we wish all mothers a wonderful Mother’s Day on Sunday. This special day is a time to reflect on the immeasurable contributions and sacrifices that mothers make, and we hope you feel cherished and celebrated by your loved ones. We hope this Mother's Day brings you plenty of rest, relaxation, and well-deserved pampering.
Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum (KSCPC)
It is a requirement that all students receive a protective behaviours and sexual abuse prevention education which is developed by experts in child abuse prevention, is age and developmental stage appropriate, is culturally appropriate, is integrated into the curriculum of the school and make relevant subject matter links, includes e-safety education and builds practice self-protective skills and strategies.
The Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum is taught at St Denis. The KSCPC teaches children and young people to recognise abuse, tell a trusted adult, understand what is ok and not ok touching and ways of keeping themselves safe.
Themes
The curriculum is based on two main themes which are presented through topics and activities:
· Theme 1: We all have the right to be safe
· Theme 2: We can help ourselves to be safe by talking to people we trust
Focus Areas
The two themes are explored through four Focus Areas, which are examined in growing complexity in accordance with the age of the learners.

4. Protective strategies
