The followers of Islam are Muslims which got there name from he who surrenders from the will of God. The beliefs of the Muslims are that the Islamic holy day is Friday. There other six major beliefs are belief in Allah, their god, belief in angels, belief in the holy book, belief in the prophet, belief in judgement, and belief in predestination.These beliefs keep the Muslims from going against their god. They practice the Five Pillars of Faith which are Shahada, Salat, Zakat, Siyam, and Hajj. These Five Pillars help put the Muslims faith into action. They worship these beliefs in a Mosque which is somewhat a small palace with unique designs. The worship leaders or Imam guide the Muslims in prayer and teaching. They read from the Quar'an or koran.

They celebrate Ramadan which is the ninth month on the Islamic calendar and a time were all Muslims will fast during the hours of daylight. After Ramadan is Eidalfitr which is a festival to celebrate the braking of the fast for Muslims. Lasting three days, it is a time where family and friends get together, for celebrating with good food and presents. They believe that Jerusalem is a holy city for them and that the al-aqsa Mosque which is known as one of the holiest sites for them. Also, it is said that at the dome on the rock shrine Muhammad ascended to heaven from there.

These pillars help put the Muslims faith into action.
The Symbol for Islam
This is the Crescent and Star that is on the flag for Muslims.
The Qur'an
This is the holy book given to Muhammad by the angel Gabriel.
The Worship leader
The worship leader or Imam helps guide the Muslims in prayer and faith.
The Holy Place (shrine of the Dome on the Rock)
This is where in Jerusalem, Muhammad was believed to ascend to heaven.

The Same For Each
Muslims, Jews, and Christians all have Abraham as a common figure to them because his descendants went different ways and made different views about god. They all believe that there is one pure god. This shows that they are all monotheistic religions.
