Pulley
A pulley makes work easier by changing the direction of the force.
Ex: elevator
Screw
A screw is an inclined plane that is coiled around a shaft.
Ex: screwdriver
Wedge
A wedge is two inclined planes put together. It changes force from moving downwards to moving outwards.
Ex: axe going into wood
Inclined Plane
An inclined plane is a simply titled surface. Like the steeper it is, the more it will go up.
Ex: wheelchair ramp
Wheel and Axle
It's a small cylinder (axle) joined to a large cylinder (wheel).
Ex: wheel barrow
Lever
Its a rigid bar that rotates around a fixed point, the fixed point is called the fulcrum.
