Creating Opportunities Together
A Thought or Two From Mr. Nieslanik
We have made it to halftime! The year is half over next week, and just like that, we are moving into Quarter Three and Semester Two. It seems just like yesterday I was trying to wrap my head around this experience we call "Comprehensive Distance Learning". Here we sit at the end of January, in the year 2021, wishing and hoping for the day when we can return to school fully in-person. We also sit in this last week of January thinking about the end of Quarter Two. This Quarter ends on Thursday, February 4th with the grading day on Friday, February 5th. I ask each parent and guardian to go work with your student to ensure that all work is turned in, and opportunities are not closed as we move forward. We want everyone to end this quarter with passing marks and a clean slate as we move into the first day of Quarter Three on Monday, February 8th!
We have a series of events we are planning for the student body, to engage with each other and the campus. All we are waiting for is the metrics to open a bit! We look forward to sharing our thinking with you and seeing our students in person, and not through a darkened Zoom window!
Until next time,
David
