Apple Fitness Test
We held our first Apple Fitness Challenge as a fun fundraiser when we started the Apple Program several years ago. This year, we're bringing it back as the Fun Fit $50K Apple Fitness Day and our goal is to raise money to upgrade our existing equipment and for our technical support position next year. For Apple Fitness Day, students collect pledges from friends and family and then they participate in games and sports led by volunteers--like a "walk-a-thon" but without a specific pledge per lap or mile. Some of the games include a relay race, soccer and hockey shoot out, a dance party, and Sharks and Minnows, to name just a few.
We know the kids look forward to this event (playground, jumping, running, sure!) and we aim for 100% participation. If every student gets 10 pledges of $20 or more we'll make our overall goal for next year's upgrades. Parents can help out by returning the required permission slip by May 10 (in backpacks by Wednesday or download below) and working with their student to collect pledges. Please see the links below for forms and more information and thank you for your continued support of our Apple Technology program!

Good news! We'll have a yearbook again this year to help us remember all the great events from this school year (and those cute little faces, too). You can customize two pages of the yearbook with your own student's pictures that will print only in your copy. You must first register for a TreeRing account and then you'll be able to start customizing, or you can pre-purchase now without customizing.
www.treering.com/validate?PassCode=101358194352588
Customized pages must be completed by May 1. Yearbooks are $21.99 for the paperback edition and will be delivered before the end of the school year.
Want to see pictures of your student's class in the yearbook? Please upload your photos to our Shutterfly site. See directions on getting access on the site if you're a first-time user:http://westhollywoodphotos.shutterfly.com/ Please name your album ("Ms. Marsh Weiss Trip to Kidspace 2015", etc.) so we know where to place photos in the yearbook.
