Opt-Out Student Information from College Board
Beginning in Spring 2024, parents/guardians will no longer be asked to provide parental/guardian consent for their students to answer optional student information, access College Board's BigFuture School app, and opt into Connections during the SAT Suite of Assessments. Rather, parents/guardians will have the opportunity to opt out of their students from providing this optional student information, including participation in BigFuture School and Connections.
Parents visit the Michigan Merit Examination website to read more and access the opt-out form.
2023-2024 Electronic Device Policy for State Testing
Before our state test administration, district and building assessment coordinators must communicate a policy for using electronic devices by students and staff during testing.
During testing, the Michigan Department of Education does not allow students to have electronic devices with them (including wearable technology like FitBits, Apple watches, etc.). Please make sure you take the time to review our Electronic Device Policy for the 23-24 school year before testing.
If you have any questions or concerns about the policy, contact the main office in the building where your student attends.
Empowering Students to Become Environmental Stewards
Discover the transformative experiences of students from Cedar Springs High School Eco Club and Forestry Team at the Archangel Ancient Tree Archive's Tree School. Learn how these young environmentalists and conservationists are paving the way for a sustainable future, and see how their dedication to planting black willows contributes to biodiversity and hands-on education. Join us in celebrating their achievements and support our mission to nurture the next generation of environmental stewards.
