Did you know? Birthdays at Red Rocks: each day we announce birthdays during morning announcements and invite those with birthdays to visit the office and pick a prize from the Birthday Treasure Box. For those who have birthdays in June, they will be announced in May. Students with July birthdays will be announced in August. However, as a part of district requirements for healthy schools, we don't bring in birthday treats to share with their classroom because of food allergies and other considerations. You can read more in the RR Family/Student Handbook
How Sick is too Sick? It's that "season" and stuff is going around. Wondering if your student should stay home? Check out CDPHE's resource HERE. If your student will be late or absent, please be sure to call our main attendance line so we can account for their safety. We ask that any student arriving after 7:55 a.m. be signed in by a guardian at the office. Reference our RR Family Handbook HERE for more details.

Notes from the PTA
Red Rocks Elementary PTA's Board consists of its Officers and Committee Chairs. All of our Officer positions (President, VP, Secretary and Treasurer) are up for election (1 Year Terms) and will be voted on at our March General meeting. Committee Chairs will be voted on in May along with the 24-25 Budget.
While some members of our PTA board are returning, we have several board members who are “graduating” with their children or stepping back from their current roles. Please consider joining our Board as we would love to work with you and bring your ideas to our school. In order to continue offering all that our PTA does, these Officer positions and Committees must be filled each and every year. It truly takes a village to run our incredible volunteer PTA.
Help us continue all the incredible work of our PTA by joining our Board. Please see the Google Form for more information on these rewarding opportunities.
