Teacher Return Date
Monday September 21st is return date for everyone. Daily report time is 7:25. Keep in mind that morning carline will consist of a different process. the health screen questionnaire and temperature check will have to be done for EVERY scholar/person that enters the building. So please plan accordingly.
Staff Safety Training
Recess and Restroom Procedures
- send scholars to restroom individually
- allow scholars to play on playground equipment
- allow scholars to play freely
All of these procedures, in the way we knew them, will be completely different and it is imperative that we follow them efficient and effectively. I have attached some resources given to us to begin to think of recess ideas.
Also for 2-5 you will need tithing of procedures you will need to enforce that allow you to feel able to monitor effectively for restroom. We will give you guidance and logistics for restroom use, but what are some things you will need to be in place for yourself to assist in correct implementation of social distancing for your classes.

CMO Information

WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS (No Staff Huddle or Professional Development): Aug. 12, Sept. 9, Oct. 14 (n/a Nov./Dec.)
COVID Notification: Just a quick request to remind staff that if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID or have tested positive they need to put in an iHelp ticket with Talent Management so that we can provide the proper follow up. If there is a situation regarding a scholar and COVID (even while in a remote learning environment), please notify the campus health services staff. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Thank you all for everything you do!
Mask Requirements: All staff must properly wear masks (covering both nose and mouth) at all times while on campus. The only exception to this is while eating or drinking. “Why do I have to wear one if I’m in a room alone”, you say? The virus can live on surfaces and is easily transmitted through contact. If someone coughs or sneezes while not properly wearing a mask and covering their mouths and noses with their elbow, the surfaces in the room are now contaminated. According to the CDC, face shields can be used in conjunction with masks but may not be used alone since they don’t offer the same level of protection. I understand that masks can be uncomfortable and sometimes a break is needed. We ask staff members to step outside and maintain social distancing while taking a mask break to decrease the risk of contamination of the buildings. This is a crazy time and we all want to do our part to ensure the health and safety of the scholars, staff, and families of Uplift.
EdTech Tools: CMO is working on finalizing updates to Primary Ed Tech products:
- Exact Path accounts have been updated and may be accessed via Classlink. Once logged into Classlink, scholars and teachers simply need to click on the Exact Path icon to automatically login. Previous usernames/passwords will not work.
- STEMscopes accounts have been updated for all teachers and scholars. Users may login via the STEMscopes icon on their Classlink dashboards.
- RAZ Plus accounts have been updated for all teachers and scholars. Users may login via the RAZ Plus icon on their Classlink dashboards.
- Great Minds InSync (Affirm, Eureka Math) accounts have been created for all teachers and scholars. Users may login via the Great Minds InSync icon on their Classlink dashboards.
- Reading Eggs accounts are being finalized this week.
- Keyboarding Without Tears accounts are still being setup. I hope to finalize them this week.
The short version is we are working to set up access to all Ed Tech products through Classlink Single Sign-on (SSO).
