The San Diego Sports Association - Star of the Month
The San Diego Sports Association honors professional, amateur, and prep athletes as Stars of the Month for their outstanding athletic accomplishments. The athletes are recognized in the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Fowler Family Awards Center at Petco Park, and on the Sports Association's social media channels and website.
SMHS Senior - ENSLEY ALDEN, Volleyball, was honored for October. Ensley was a force on the court for the Knights, helping lead them to a 19-1 mark in the month of September. Alden announced her commitment to play beach volleyball at UCLA.

My football coach in High School. I still talk to him at least once a week
3. What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
My microwave / Netflix
4. Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
Italy! The history and culture is incredible
5. Who was your trusted adult (the person that made a difference in your life) when you were a student (supervisor, counselor, office staff, teacher, etc.)? Why?
My history teacher and my football coach, both were positive male role models for me.
6. What would you most like to tell yourself at age 15?
Take chances
