CCP Information for the 2023-2024 School Year
College Credit Plus is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families.
In order to participate in the college credit plus program for the 2023-2024 school year, students and families are required to receive counseling concerning the rules and regulations for both CWHS and the College/University. This is vital for students and families to understand their responsibilities, benefits and possible risks of participating in the College Credit Plus program. The CCP Informational Video below serves as CCP advisement for the 2023-2024 school year. This video must be viewed by both parents and student in order to participate in CCP for the 2023-2024 school year.
Embedded Course Information
Embedded CCP courses are Columbus State Community College classes that are taught at CWHS by a CWHS teacher. Any student interested in taking an embedded course at CWHS will need to complete the Embedded Course Checklist.
