Visit our district's News & Announcements page on our website to explore our new highlight feature:
Our Promise Features: Showcases our staff for the incredible work they do throughout the district. This spotlight is particularly aimed at those whose work often goes unnoticed but provides significant value to our district, schools, students, and/or staff. It offers a small moment of appreciation for their dedicated efforts in fulfilling our PJUSD Promise.
This month's Promise Feature highlights Patty Garcia. Wearing many hats in our district, Patty has spearheaded a passion project that has made a significant impact at Creekside Middle School, growing into one of the largest participating clubs on campus. Club Mexico offers students a platform to immerse themselves in cultural learning, interact with peers and family, and experience a sense of belonging among classmates and staff.
Summer Workforce Development Program
Our district interviewed 60 students for our Summer Workforce Development Program and we couldn't be more proud of them for the level of professionalism they displayed!
Visit our district's Facebook page to find out more about the interviews and to provide your advice for students entering their first job.

STOPit App is Live!
We are excited to introduce a new tool for our school community: the STOPit App is now live!
The STOPit app is an anonymous reporting tool designed to deter and promptly address instances of bullying, school violence, self-harm, and inappropriate behaviors. Members of our school community can speak up when they have a concern, without the stigma or fear of retaliation. While we will always encourage students and parents to directly inform school employees of any safety concerns, we hope this app will assist those who may be apprehensive to a more direct communication approach.
Scan the code to download the app and check your ParentSquare (email) for more information about the Stopit App. The app can be downloaded and is available on student's Chromebook device as well.

PJUSD Parent Involvement and Family Engagement Survey
PJUSD is seeking parent and family feedback on PJUSD’s progress on building relationships between school staff and families, building partnerships with families to enhance student outcomes, and seeking input for decision making by completing a brief Parent Involvement and Family Engagement Survey. The results of the survey will be used to assist PJUSD with improving parent involvement and engagement and inform the development of our District’s local control accountability plan. The brief survey should take several minutes to complete.
The survey will be sent via Parent Square this afternoon at 4PM. Please provide your feedback no later than Friday, April 19.

Aspiring Teachers Academy
This month, our district hosted one of a series of training sessions for our Aspiring Teachers Academy.
The Aspiring Teacher Academy is a program offered within our newly developed Aspiring Academy Series. Last year, our district launched its first Aspiring Administrators Academy, preparing our teachers to become successful administrators.
This year, our district has prioritized our classified staff to transition successfully into teaching roles.
We are very proud to continue to see our staff aspire to become educators in our district, and are pleased to provide the opportunity for them to develop in a way that specifically caters to our students' needs.
