Purchase a Tile and Support Gananda Dollars for Scholars
Have you ever wondered what those tiled walls at the three schools were all about? Gananda Dollars for Scholars started the walls in 1996 as a way to commemorate loved ones, special events, or advertise a business. Each year, the money raised from the sale of Foundations of the Future commemorative tiles funds scholarships to graduating seniors continuing their education. Visit the Gananda website for more information about the Foundations of the Future Tiles and how you can order one.

At the end of each sports season, the NYSPHSAA honors those teams and individuals that excel in the classroom. Those student-athletes, teams, and schools work very hard throughout the year and deserve to be recognized for their academic success.
To receive Scholar-Athlete team recognition with a certificate, the team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.00.
Congratulations also go out to 5 members of the team who were awarded the Scholar-Athlete Award as an individual. Those athletes are Mason Briner, Peyton Conner, Cohen Kelley, Tanner Phillips, and Noah Van Scoy.

Gananda fifth grade student, Draven Winter, secured his victory in the 13th Annual Gananda Spelling Bee competition on Thursday, February 11, 2021 with the correct spelling of the word "constricting." Winter will move on to the next level of competition at the Regional Spelling Bee to be held in March at a yet to be determined location.
Joining Winter at the regional competition will be Second Place Winner, 7th Grader, Jenna Giles. Giles secured her second place finish by spelling the word "dismayed" correctly. Additionally, 7th Grader, Melissa Giddings secured her third place finish in the competition with the correct spelling of "featherbrained." Giddings will attend the regional competition as an alternate.
