The Warrior Weekly
Week of October 12th
Conference Time! Wow!
It is amazing how quickly our first quarter has flown by! We are heading into conference week and our teachers are so excited to share with each of you. We hope that all of you are able to find time to come in and meet with your child's teacher on either Tuesday or Thursday of this week. If you are not able to make it either of those nights please contact your teacher about the possibility of finding another time to meet. The partnership between school and home is essential in allowing our young Warriors to reach their full potential. Thank you to all of our families for all that you have done and continue to do to support your child's education.
Please know that you can stop by the office to ask me any questions about the beginning of the school year or what we have in store for the rest of the year.
Proud to be a Warrior,
Jeff Schultz
Outstanding!
The Counselor's Corner
Hello Warriors!
This month each grade was given a book that all classrooms will read. These books were chosen because they strongly support the ideals of the Warrior Way, Responsibility, Respect, and Safety. Along with my monthly counseling lessons, we will continue to utilize books that will help us develop common language throughout the building. One example of this is the book "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?". This book helps show students the important of kindness and giving compliments to others and the benefit that it has for all of us at Winfield Intermediate. Take a moment or two during the month to talk to your child about the books that are being read in their classroom and what they took away from the story.

We have so many staff members that go above and beyond with their time and I wanted to take moment to highlight these four NEHS sponsors. They put together a truly memorable evening for students and families. Prior to that evening these ladies spent numerous hours both before and after school during the selection process.
Thank to these NEHS sponsors as well as the rest of the Intermediate staff for all the times that you go above and beyond to meet the needs of our students!
