🐣 Avril 2024 🙏
Bonjour / Message from your admin. team
Welcome to the month of AVRIL !!
Dear parents/guardians,
It’s hard to believe it, but we have started the 3rd and final term of this school year following student-parent-teacher conferences. Thanks to all of you who participated in these important conferences, and thank you for the amazing Book Fair support!
We are now in the Easter season of the liturgical year! We would like to thank you for supporting our Lenten projects for Concern for Youth. With the arrival of spring (yes it is coming), the snow in the school yard will give way to puddles (sometimes mini-lakes) and mud. Please ensure that your child has extra clothing in the backpack and appropriate footwear for outdoor play.
As always, if you have any questions or suggestions regarding the school, we would be happy to hear from you.
Happy Easter!
M. Masich and Mme Poitras

He is risen! Alleluia!!
We are now in the Easter Season of the church year where we celebrate the Risen Lord for 50 days culminating with the Feast of Pentecost in May. Symbolizing new life, the liturgical colour is white and the Alleluia which was silent throughout the 40 days of Lent is sung once again.
You are welcome to join us for our Easter season mass on Tuesday, April 23rd at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Calasanctius Parish. Mme Moussafir's grade 5 students will be leading the ministries during the mass.

Allez-y les Bisons! / Go Bisons!
Greetings, Bisons!
March has rolled in with a bit of a different tune this year as extracurricular activities hit a temporary pause. While the buzz of competitions and tournaments hasn't filled our gymnasiums, our teams have been keeping their spirits high.
The basketball teams put in commendable efforts throughout the season, displaying skill and
teamwork. Unfortunately, the climax of the season, the tournament, remained out of reach for us
this year. Nonetheless, we are proud of the dedication and hard work our players exhibited.
Curling, typically a winter favorite, saw a brief season with no bonspiel this time around. Despite
this setback, our curlers managed to hit the ice a few times for practice.
As we eagerly await the thawing of the snow, our eyes are set on the horizon for the commencement of the track and field season. With fingers crossed for warmer weather, we are gearing up to hit the ground running and jumpstarting our training sessions. Let's keep our Bison spirit alive and kicking as we look forward to the excitement and camaraderie that sports bring to our school community!
Best regards,
Mme Bernier

Merci to the Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs
Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs (BATC) is a tribal council that was formed in the spring of 2007. Through the generosity of BATC, EMBM receives grant monies to help us ensure that First Nations, Métis and Inuit content and Treaty Learnings are an integral part of our students' learning. This year the funds received from BATC enable us to provide cultural activities and invite elders and knowledge keepers to the school to share their knowledge of traditional ways with our students and help build understanding of treaties.
