Attention RHS Juniors!
All RHS Juniors
- What? Renaissance High School is administering the PSAT
- When? On Wednesday, October 14th
- How do I register? Pay the Bookkeeper $20 for the test by September 30th (or pay online at myschoolfees.com)
- Benefits:
- The PSAT is a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT. It is also a means for Juniors to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program (NMSQT).
- Junior students who take the PSAT in the fall of their Junior year tend to receive better scores on the SAT administered in the spring. SAT scores can be used for college admission, and may be used to determine scholarship awards, so getting a higher SAT score can benefit you significantly!
- Students receive personalized SAT practice recommendations from Khan Academy based on the performance on the PSAT/NMSQT.

Every Student Learning Every Day
The West Ada School District continues to operate in the Yellow category of the Fall Reopening Plan.
Yellow means that classes will meet on an alternating day schedule depending on their assigned Team (see chart below). The hybrid/alternating schedule is shown below. Students are required to attend class on campus on their designated Team day.
For example:
- If your student is on Team 1, they are required to attend class on campus for T1 days.
- If your student is on Team 2, they are required to attend class on campus for T2 days.
- The days students are physically at home, it is the expectation for students to continue to learn and work independently on the tasks assigned by the teacher through MS TEAMS.
Student attendance is REQUIRED on in-school team days. Students are not to email their teachers that they plan to stay home and work remotely for the day, as attendance in person is required. If students are ill and cannot come to school, a parent/guardian needs to call the attendance line at 208-350-4385.
The first quarter ends on Monday, November 9th.
Thank you for your RHS spirit wear orders! You'll be receiving pick-up details in your inbox soon. Don't worry if you missed the deadline - there will be more opportunities to purchase spirit wear in the future.
Please join us in the Renaissance main hallway on Tuesday, Oct 13th, at 7:00pm for our monthly Booster meeting. This is a chance to meet other parents, find out about upcoming events, ask questions and lend a helping hand.
We need your support now more than ever. Our annual "No Nonsense Fundraiser" benefits every student, funds teacher wish lists and supports our library. Please thoughtfully consider how you can contribute. Our donation form can be found at:
