October 6, 2014 Teacher eLC Time!
Diving back into Data Analysis!
Welcome back to eLC time together!
It's data time again!
We have worked over the 2013-2014 school year to view daily student progress as data we need to help inform our decisions about the next day's instructional pieces and student direction. That's our daily work.
Last year, we also worked together to analyze our course data in order to make informed decisions about our courses and teaching. So much important change resulted from this eLC time! As we discussed last year, it is so important that we as teachers work in community with each other and not in isolation. We are thankful for you at NCVPS as you are making a difference for the students of NC!
As Henry Brooks Adams wrote, “Teachers affect eternity; no one can tell where their influence stops.“ How cool that teaching is our profession with so many possibilities for our students. But we need to work as a team to do all we can to provide the best instruction.
We want to continue on this path again this year. With our core mission to improve student learning, eLC time is valuable . Thank you for your commitment to your team and your students!

Week of October 6th, Introduction
Your one hour of eLC time each week is important! Whether you are a team of two or a team of ten, you all need to depend upon each other to accomplish the goals of each week. If one person does not take the eLC work seriously, it impacts the entire group.
Last year, you reflected on the NCVPS shared vision for eLCs. Please go to the NCVPS Vision of eLCs (linked) Google document to review this information.
Below you see an article link and then below this link, a video link. Michelle Lourcey will reference this article in her video to you about why eLCs are important. Please watch Michelle's video!
