Deaf-blind people through history

Heler Keller
She is the most famous deaf/blind person in the world. Did you know that she was a published author? Some of her books are titled "The Story of My Life", "Light in My Darkness" and "Three Days to See".
Laura Bridgman
- Laura was the first blind/deaf person to make it through school which then helped Heler Keller be educated.
- Laura lost almsot all of her senses including sight, smell, taste, and hearing.
Julia Brace
-In America, the first deaf-blind person was named Julia Brace.
-She mainly used fingerspelling to communicate with others.
-When she walked, she never missed a step on the stairs and never missed the entrance to a door.
Georgia Griffith
-Born blind then later on in life became deaf.
- Georgia was the first deaf-blind student to graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio
- She returned home Lancaster and went on to teach students in public schools and private music lesson.
