- Winter Weather: Winter weather is upon us. As we have experienced, Indiana weather can be very unpredictable. During the winter months you may behearing of school delays or closings and wonder a time or two how those decisions are made. It is rarely an easy decision and one that involves talking with a number of agencies and local road officials. You can get the most up-to-date information on Twitter (@nwhsc1), Facebook, or any of the local media outlets. It is important that parents keep their contact information updated in Harmony to receive phone calls and emails in a timely manner. Decisions are made as early as possible and usually before 5:00 AM. With our transportation routes and bus stops, it will be very important to make sure your children have warm coats, gloves, hats, and scarves as they walk to and from the bus stop and while they wait for their bus. Parents should provide safe shelter for their children while waiting for the bus whenconditions outside are bad. See below for Snow day E-Learning Schedule.
JOB BOARD - If you are looking for employees, we do have a student jobs board. Please send your employment openings to Mrs. Dickerson. dickersonch@hendricks.k12.in.us.
Call the attendance line (317-994-4000, option 1) to report absences from school, late arrivals to school, and early departures from school.

Greetings,
Attention Junior class Parents/Guardians!
Your child will participate in the SAT School Day assessment, per Indiana state requirements, on Friday, March 3rd.
A pre-administration session will be held with all Junior students on Tuesday, February 21st and 28th, as a way to help prepare your child for the SAT school day.
During this pre-administration session there will be two optional sections for our students to complete information for: The Student Search Service and the Student Questionnaire. Please review the attached document for details about these optional sections.
Students will be required to provide College Board their first and last name, school name and school code, date of birth, and grade level. This information is the minimum required for scoring and reporting test results. Juniors can send their scores to up to 4 colleges or scholarship programs for free! This is optional, but we highly encourage students to demonstrate their interest in their chosen schools early. If they opt out and leave this section blank, then no scores will be sent.
IF you would prefer for your student to OPT OUT of these optional services and sections please check the NO box, print your students name, sign and date the form and email the form back to spoljarican@hendricks.k12.in.us or you can print the completed form and have your child return it to the Guidance office no later than Wednesday, March 1st.
*We will operate under the condition that all other students have parental consent to opt in and participate in these sections during Tuesday's pre-administration session. Therefore, you do not need to return the form if you consent to your child’s participation.
Please monitor your emails this month for more information on the schedule for SAT school day, March 3rd.
