The relationship between two numbers or sets of numbers (X and Y) where each X will be paired with exactly one Y (example Y= 4X+6)
Function Map-
A way to show the X's relationship to the Y's.
(Input and Output In different circles with arrows pointing from the X's to the Y's.)
Independent-
A variable that does not depend on another variable
(Y does not depend on X but vice versa.)

What goes Into the function
Integer-
A whole number or a number that's not a fraction\decimal\etc.
Order Of Operations
A rule or process to follow that tells you which procedure to act upon first.
