Exciting Opportunity!!!
Minidoka County School District has been invited by Dr. Charlie Silva, Idaho Special Education Director, to participate in the Special Education State Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP). The SSIP is targeting reading outcomes for 4th grade special education students who participate in ISAT testing. Eventually all districts will be involved in the SSIP. Being one of the early adopting districts will give us the opportunity to assist in building and shaping the plan. Another benefit will be professional development centered on evidence based practices. We will keep you informed as this process takes shape. Please follow this link to gather information on Idaho’s SSIP. http://www.sde.idaho.gov/sped/ssip/
